When she joined the team of Barsa & Company in 2009, it was Irene Solorzano’s second time working with Jo Barsa. Irene had been a member of Barsa & Associates from 2000 to 2002. In the time in between, she expanded her career serving as a senior accountant and an accounting manager at local companies. Irene has been a resident of San Diego since 1981.
Irene graduated with an Accounting degree from Kelsey Jenny College in 2001. She is the primary senior accountant for several Barsa & Company clients, providing exceptional day-to-day accounting service and preparing monthly financial statements. She is QuickBooks PRO Certified and has expert knowledge of a variety of accounting software programs derived from her more than 13 years of professional experience.
Irene is also fluent in MAS 90, MAS 200, Platinum for Windows, FRx Report Writer, FAS Fixed Asset Accounting, ADP Payroll, Administaff Payroll, Myriad, and Winteam.
